As we navigate the third year amid Covid-19 pandemic, digital technologies have played a significant role in their diverse forms, providing solutions for addressing the crisis, offering innovative ways for achieving desired outputs and keeping connected. Businesses be it small or large have navigated and adapted these challenges to protect their employee, customers and communities as well.

Building on the foundations laid down in the form of Jan Dhan, Aadhaar and Mobile [JAM] trinity and other digital initiatives of the Government, Government eMarketplace (GeM) set up as the National Public Procurement Portal in 2016, for procurement of goods and services by leveraging technology and making procurement transparent, efficient and inclusive by all central ministries, state departments, public sector units and autonomous bodies.

The Portal played an imminent role during these challenging times in keeping the momentum of public procurement machinery by providing a unified, transparent, efficient and accountable public procurement system.

In order to further strengthen the engagement and participation of industry in GeM platform, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in partnership with Government e-Marketplace (GeM), is organising the 6th Edition of National Public Procurement Conclave and Exhibition Conclave under the aegis of GeM from 9 August – 9 September 2022 in partnership with GeM over the virtual platform.

NPPC brings together a host of Buyers/Sellers and the stalwarts of the industry with massive opportunities in the Public Procurement sector. It offers opportunities to interact with more than 900 buyers/sellers across sectors along with more than 3000+ Public Procurement Managers from different Government Departments and PSUs across different states and Union Territory.
