The British High Commission India network and UK Defence & Security Exports is organising a Virtual B2B interaction event on Counter-Explosive Ordnance (C-EO) on 25th February from 1400-1700 IST. The event is being organised in partnership with UK-India Business Council and Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers.
The event would feature presentations from reputable UK C-EO Companies. These companies will be using their equipment and products to tackle real–life scenario’s involving Military Explosive Ordnance Clearance, Route Proving and Clearance/Search, Border Security, Identify threats & clear building in a CBRN contaminated environment.
These UK companies are looking to co-manufacture, co-create and export C-EO products & services to India in line with its ‘Make in India’ ambitions.
The objectives of the event are
- Identify and progress co-development opportunities for the UK and Indian industry.
- Introduce the capability of the UK C-EO companies for engaging in opportunities in India and the UK.
- Strengthen the UK-India Defence and Internal Security Partnership
