11th Regional Conference on Infrastructure Project Management
The world is in throes of the fourth industrial revolution – one driven by the convergence of physical and digital worlds. While India still has to cover ground when compared with the developed economies, technology is now fundamentally changing the way we live and work. In India, the construction and project management industry is an important indicator of the state of the economy as it is one of the largest employment generators in the country.
Advances in digital technology will play an important role in the future of the infrastructure project and construction management industry. There will be wider use of technology in construction and project management especially post the Covid-19 situation as companies realize the long-term efficiency and cost savings of such techniques.
The industry is set to make a comeback in 2021 with a specific focus on health and safety of construction workers, and best in class on-off site quality backed by innovative digital technology practices. The need of the hour is to rethink and prepare for the future of the industry.
Taking these thoughts forward, CII is organizing the 11th Regional Infrastructure Project Management Virtual Conference on Dec 8th, 2020. The theme of this year’s conference is on “Ctrl+Alt+Del…Rebooting to 2021”. This conference will bring together industry experts to share their thoughts on importance of innovative practices and technologies/digital strategies in construction industry, focused approach on rethinking construction practices, opportunities that exist today and what the future holds for the industry as we march into 2021.
