Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Eastern Region is organising the 15th Safety Symposium & Exhibition, a 2-day conference along with virtual exhibition, on 25-26 August 2021 on the CII Virtual Platform. The central theme of the initiative is ‘Enhancing Safety Culture through Technology Adoption”. This is a landmark year of the initiative - the 15th edition.
The objective of the symposium is to understand how technology is transforming the safety culture across many sectors and is changing the way companies operate. A successful safety culture is one in which every employee values safety and committed towards any adaptation of technological advancement. However, there are significant seen and unseen barriers to making this transition smooth & effective.
The symposium aims to focus on possible technology adoption for the improvement in the occupational health and safety (OHS) systems to build and enhance safety culture, in order to reduce incidents and moving towards “Vision Zero”.
