Agriculture sector plays a crucial role in India’s economic development, considering that it employs 55% of population and more than 60% of its landmass under cultivation. The sector is plagued by several issues that are limiting farm productivity and incomes. New technologies offer immense potential to address these challenges.

Working from home is not the only technology-aided disruption; digital conclaves and exhibitions are on their way to becoming the new normal. This inspired CII to develop a forum for the agri industry that would pave way for conducting businesses.

CII in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare, Government of India, is organizing its first Virtual Conference & Exhibition on New Innovations & Digital Technologies for Smart, Safe & Sustainable Agriculture - CII IntelAgri scheduled on 26 - 27 June 2020 on CII HIVE – virtual platform.

This event would be a platform to collaborate, discuss, invest and explore disruptions in the Indian agri space and network with leading agri-food technology corporations, start-ups, investors, academia and Government.
