The role of Technological innovations and their actual deployment is integral to accelerate the transformation of the agricultural sector and help attain the vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”. The recent Agricultural reforms introduced by the Government will enable a market driven environment that is conducive to increase investments and exports.

 

To create a sustained dialogue and interaction between Technology developers, Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Farmers, Stakeholders from the Agribusiness Industry and Government, and to ensure the right deployment of the global technologies in the Indian agriculture sector, CII has institutionalized a platform named Advanced Technology Programme in Agriculture.

 

The fourth edition of the Advanced Technology Programme is scheduled on 17-18 September 2020 on HIVE; CII’s virtual platform with a two-day Global Dialogue and an Exhibition of Agribusinesses from India and Netherlands. 

 

The Global Dialogue will witness deliberation on Digital solutions and Next-Gen Agri Technologies - Agri-Robotics, Agri-Biotechnology, Agri-Nanotechnology - that have tremendous transformational potential for Indian Agriculture, by experts from Singapore-MIT Alliance, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia, Agriculture Research Organisation (ARO), Volcani, Israel, Wageningen Plant Research, Netherlands, Radboud University, The Netherlands, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay amongst others.
